A little bit about The Foundation.

The Castleberry Foundation was established July 2002 in Shreveport-Bossier as 501-C3 non-profit foundation to fund experimental cancer treatment for late stage cancer patients.

Our goal is to offer patients hope when conventional treatments have failed. Only at this time should experimental treatment be an option.

Our cover letter was written by the 1st cancer patient that received funding from The Castleberry Foundation. "Stephanie Triplet" is the reason The Castleberry Foundation exists today."

Stephanie passed away as a result of a blood clot in April of 2006. (Not from cancer)

It was Steph's wish to have this treatment available for her family and anyone in the world that is challenged by this dreaded disease. Helping to eliminate the concerns, fears, financial issues and physical pain associated with cancer was very important to Steph.

It was her wish, if God called her home before her dream was fulfilled, to continue our work for others.

We have worked diligently in Steph's honor throughout the years to help bring this treatment to the world. Advancing the treatment that Steph received has proven to be an enormous challenge.

In the past 9 years Castleberry has assisted a number of patients with financial as well as moral support to receive cancer treatment in Germany with this new and innovative therapy provided by BioPheresis Technologies.

The experimental treatment our foundation is funding at the present time has shown promising remission rates in patients with the same types of cancer in previous National Institute of Health studies.

Helping BioPheresis move forward in their quest to receive medical approval in the EU, which was accomplished in 2006, and begin the journey to America is our passion.

The Castleberry Foundation is committed to seeing that Steph's wish does comes true and we will forever be indebted for the experiences and challenges before us.

WE WILL FOREVER BE GRATEFUL FOR THE DOORS THAT SHE AND OTHERS HAVE OPENED TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.

All individuals affiliated with the foundation are volunteering their time, efforts and expertise. No one receives a salary and expenses are minimal.
